Evening: Psalm 68:1-36; Luke 8:1-15
When
you did your best and it didn’t work out, was it worthwhile? Jesus’
parable of the sower invites us not to lose heart. Some of our best
efforts may fall by the wayside, but St. Paul bids us to be good news for one another ... love
one another genuinely; hold fast to the good; rejoice in hope; be
patient in suffering; persevere in prayer; be hospitable to strangers;
rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep; live in
harmony; care for your enemies; do not be overcome by evil, but overcome
evil with good.
