Evening: Psalm 34; 2 Chronicles 6:12-17; Ephesians 3:14-21
Today
is Joseph’s day. He’s always been a favourite of mine, with his simple
acceptance that he would be Jesus’ father. He did as God asked.
Sometimes you long for God to speak to you in a loud
voice, too! It would be a gift to hear clearly what God expects and be
able to say “yes”. It does happen, though … when your heart is moved,
and you realize that all God expects is for you to say “yes” to love.
Joseph must have remembered often how he had said “yes”. The world
changed forever because he did.
