Evening: Psalm 68; Mark 8:1-10
“How
beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim
peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim healing … God reigns!” My
friends, some may think God’s good news is naïve. They may say we should
treat harshly those whose faith differs from our own. But let us not
succumb to fear. Let us make our feet beautiful and
proclaim peace by our actions. Let us stand in loving solidarity with
those who suffer for their faith in God. For “God reigns.” And the Lord
our God is One Lord.
